Abstracts: The rural water supply works in the Northwest of Vietnam are mainly built from the Government’s Action Programs and Support Projects. Most of these constructions use simple raw water treatment technology, and can only remove some metals such as iron or turbidity, unable to filter out bacterial viruses and components pollution such as oil, pesticides, … In the situation of water sources are showing signs of pollution today, plus the habit of using water directly by people, the danger to people’s health is very great. On the other hand, the project’s operating efficiency is not high. Buildings only function well for the first 2 to 3 years, after which the water supply capacity decreases or even stops operating. The article introduces the results of building a centralized water supply model for a population of 100 people, synchronizing the solution of subsurface dam, a water treatment complex meeting QCVN 02: 2009 / BYT, and especially in This model has formed a financial autonomous management and management organization, which is an important determinant of the model’s sustainability.
